Herts Copper & Bronze County Championships

A huge well done to our gymnasts who competed at the Herts Copper & Bronze County Championships. Our girls delivered confident, competitive routines, with several notable results across the apparatus:
Copper 12+
Sophie Turner – 2nd, Vault
Kacie Coats – 1st, Beam
Lucie Day – 2nd, Floor
Bronze 13+
Beth Stanyer – 1st, Vault; 2nd, Floor
Julia Ruszelak – 3rd, Vault; Bars; Beam; 2nd, Floor; 3rd, All Around
A special mention goes to Beth Stanyer, who was awarded the John Braham Trophy for achieving the highest Bronze Vault score of the competition.

Herts Zinc County Champs

Huge congratulations to our gymnasts who competed at the Herts Zinc County Championships. They performed well across their routines and represented the club with confidence. A notable result came from Elza Buljapi in the Zinc 11+ age group, where she placed 3rd on floor

Linda named in King's Birthday Honours List!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Linda, has been recognised in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours!
Linda has been awarded a BEM (British Empire Medal) for her decades of service to gymnastics and the community in East Hertfordshire.
Linda founded Turnford Gymnastics Club in 1973 and is still coaching today. She’s inspired so many gymnasts & coaches over the years & we’re bursting with pride over this well deserved award.

Success at Herts Grades

We’re so proud of the hard work you demonstrated & the beautiful routines you showed. Special mention to Deniz & Bonnie for each winning a vault trophy for achieving the highest vault score at Grade 1!

Huge well done to Emily, Lucie, Maisie & Julia who competed at the Hertfordshire Preparation & Development grades. The girls put out strong performances in their respective grade competitions, successfully passing at ‘Working Above Standard’, with notable medal performances from Julia and Maisie.
